The park, which will be located at the intersection of Tail Wag Drive and Pawsitive Place, will provide a dedicated space for canine companions to exercise, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors. “This new dog park is a much-needed amenity for our community,” said Councilmember Doggone Jones. “It will provide a safe and convenient place for our furry friends to run, play, and make new friends.” The park will feature a variety of amenities, including: * A large fenced-in area with separate sections for small and large dogs * Agility equipment for dogs of all ages and abilities * A shaded pavilion with seating for dog owners to relax and socialize * Water fountains and waste disposal bags The park is expected to be completed by the end of the year and will be open to the public seven days a week. “We are thrilled to bring this new dog park to the Frank Fetch District,” said Mayor Pawsitive Palmer. “It is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality amenities for our residents and their furry companions.” The dog park is part of a larger investment by the city in the Frank Fetch District. The city is also planning to construct a new library, community center, and walking trail in the area. “The Frank Fetch District is becoming a vibrant hub for our community,” said Councilmember Barky Brown. “The addition of a dog park is just one of the many ways we are making this a great place to live, work, and play.” The city is encouraging residents to provide feedback on the design and amenities of the dog park. A community input meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 15th, at the Frank Fetch Community Center.
